Preservation Parks' new park is opening! Shale Hollow Preserve is located at 6320 Artesian Run, Lewis Center. It features a winding stream and unique geology, including 30-40 foot shale cliffs. The grand opening is Sunday, Dec. 8, 1:30-5 p.m., with a dedication ceremony at 2 p.m.
Directions: From the north, take U.S. 23 south from Delaware; pass Hyatts Road and turn right at the next light, Olentangy Crossings. Then turn right on Artesian Run and the park entrance is straight ahead.
From the south, take U.S. 23 north from Powell Road; pass Lewis Center Road and turn left at the next light, Olentangy Crossings. Turn right on Artestian Run.
