Home Stretch 5K

The Worthington Resource Pantry will host its second annual Home Stretch, a family-friendly 5k run, walk, or stroll to combat hunger in our community. The event is presented by sponsor Hyperion Materials & Technologies and will be held from Saturday, September 25 through Saturday, October 2. This fun event will allow participants to take a self-guided tour through Worthington and surrounding areas using the provided route map at any time throughout the week. Registration is now open at wrphomestretch.com with special $30 Early Bird pricing through July 16. The price will increase to $35 as the event date approaches. Registration includes a tee-shirt, race swag, and a passport coupon booklet that gives participants discounts and perks at local shops and restaurants. Current passport stops include Oasis Face Bar, Peace, Love & Little Donuts, Mrs. Goodman’s Baking Co., and Highline Coffee, with many more still to be added. 100% of proceeds support the agency’s mission of feeding the community by connecting neighbors to food, resources, and each other.
