    Job Description
    ** This internship is mainly remote**

    This is a great opportunity for someone interested in marketing and event planning!
    • Assist with planning, implementation and follow-up for all special events.
    • Assist with fundraising programs as necessary (secure in-kind donations, promotions, and other duties).
    • Assist with maintaining event and volunteer databases.
    • Other duties as assigned.
    • 10-15 hours a week; unpaid.
    • College credit may be earned depending on school's policy.
    • Intern reports to Marketing & Communications Representative.
    QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED SKILLS AND OTHER:
    • Studies in the field of Business, Marketing, Public Relations; Minimum of a High School Diploma or GED.
    • Must be at least 19 years of age.
    • Must have a valid Ohio Driver’s License and good driving record.
    • Must pass pre-employment and random drug screenings.
    • Must pass a BCI background check.
    • Must remain in compliance with all regulatory standards governing program services, including appropriate trainings.
    • Must not be a registered offender on the ODDD Abuse and Neglect Register or the Ohio Department of Health Nurse Abuser Register.
    • Must be able to communicate in a positive manner utilizing both written and oral methods.
    • Must have excellent organizational and customer service skills.
    • Must be able to work a varied schedule, if needed.
    • Polished, professional image
    • Must have applied skills in word processing and other computer software, including but not limited to, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Power Point, Publisher) and Canva.
    • Experience on Social Media Platforms – Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube
