    Job Description
    HelpLine is seeking a self-motivated, empathetic, and highly organized full-time professional to manage all aspects of community based suicide prevention programming in Delaware and Morrow counties. This position provides leadership for a three person team of prevention educators, chairs the local county wide suicide prevention coalition, ensures effective implementation of evidence-based programming to middle and school students as well as adults, and facilitates a Survivors of Suicide Loss program. Some flexibility in schedule required. This position will collaborate with local agencies and organizations to help address the public health issue of suicide in our service area. This position benefits from an individual who has a passion for suicide prevention. The Suicide Prevention Program Manager reports to the HelpLine Associate Director.

    + Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
    + Minimum of 2 years supervisory experience
    + Minimum 2 years experience in the area of suicide and behavioral health
    + Strong public presentation/training skills
    + Demonstrated collaboration/partnership/team building skills
    + Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
    + Success with serving various target populations
    + Proficient with computer – Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Prezi
    + Strong writing skills essential
    + LSW/LPC or above professional licensure and/or Prevention Certification
    + Grant writing experience
    + Ability to think strategically with respect to program growth
    + Group facilitation skills
