Contest Information

Join us in promoting Powell’s local businesses!

Promote Powell is a contest that will let you earn points and win big prizes – valued at over $10k - all while supporting your local businesses.

The contest will run from February 16^th until April 16^th, with gift card drawings every week and grand prize drawings on April 23^rd. The last date to submit your entries is April 18^th, 2021 at 11:59 PM EST.

To enter the contest all you need to do is shop at local Powell businesses and fill out our form! Contestants can earn 1 point for purchases at any local business, and 2 points for purchases at businesses that are Powell Chamber members.

Make sure to follow us on social media, @powellchamberofcommerce, and interact to be entered into our weekly gift card drawings!

Boundaries of Promotion

Businesses in the 43065, 43035, 43015 zip codes within the following geographic boundaries:

• To the north: 1 mile north of Olentangy Crossing W (Hyatts Road)
• To the south: Summit View Rd.
• To the east: 1 mile east of St. Rt. 23. (to the Cotter St. Complex).
• To the west: 1 mile west of Dublin Rd. (to Concord Township)

Rules and Regulations

1. All purchases must be made between February 16, 2021 and April 16, 2021 to be counted toward Promote Powell.
2. If submitting multiple receipts, be sure to use the same email address for each submission.
3. All receipts must be submitted no later than 11:59 PM EST on April 18, 2021.
4. Contestants are only eligible to win one (1) of the Friday gift card giveaways.
   • Winners of the gift card giveaways will still be eligible to win grand prizes.
5. There can only be one (1) grand prize winner per household.
6. Void where prohibited by law.
7. By participating in Promote Powell, you agree to comply with and be bound by all rules
8. By entering, you agree to release and hold harmless The Greater Powell Area Chamber of Commerce and its subsidiaries, affiliates, partners, representatives, agents, successors, assigns, employees, officers, and directors from any liability , illness, injury, death, loss, litigation, claim, or damage that may occur, directly or indirectly, whether caused by negligence or not, from: (i) such entrant’s participation in ​Promote Powell​ (the "Contest") and/or his or her acceptance, possession, use, or misuse of any prize or any portion thereof; (ii) technical failures of any kind, including but not limited to the malfunction of any computer, cable, network, hardware, or software, or other mechanical equipment; (iii) the unavailability or inaccessibility of any transmissions, telephone, or Internet service; (iv) any actions, statements, or conditions existing with respect to retailers, restaurants, etc. within the Contest area; (v) electronic or human error in the administration of the Promotion or the processing of entries.
9. Promote Powell and these rules are governed by the laws of The State of Ohio.
10. You must be 18 years of age or older to participate in Promote Powell and be eligible to win any prizes.
